Meet Your Instructor

Hello, and thanks for visiting! 

 

My name is Victor Williams, I founded Freedom 1 Security with the goal of creating an environment that reduces the fear of operating firearms and minimizes negligence. Safety is our top priority, as we strive to increase our student's confidence, knowledge, and abilities through interactive firearms training. We are based in Stafford, Virginia, where we teach students from all over Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC.  

 

​As a certified firearms instructor and training counselor with the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA); certified firearms instructor with National Rifle Association (NRA), and United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA). I am honored to be able to share my firearms knowledge and experience with others.

  

My 35 years of experience in firearms training and real-world operations includes 22 years in the United States Marine Corps, as an Infantryman, Marine Security Guard, Combat Tactical Instructor, 1st Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team - Supervisor, Leadership Instructor and, Infantry First Sergeant.  

 

Out of uniform, I served as a Senior Physical Security Program Officer with the U.S. Department of State, where I trained and evaluated various security programs. I am currently employed in the Physical Security/Antiterrorism field. I have trained students of all backgrounds and skill levels, and I look forward to training you in one of my upcoming courses.
